The Reliance Foundation Postgraduate (PG) Scholarship 2026-27 is a merit-based scholarship programme for talented postgraduate students in India. Reliance Foundation PG Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

• Applicant must be a resident Indian citizen.
• Must be a first-year postgraduate student.
• Must be enrolled in a full-time, regular PG programme.
• Must have either:
  • A GATE score of 550 to 1,000, or
  • An undergraduate CGPA of 7.5 or above (or equivalent percentage converted to CGPA).
• Must be pursuing an eligible programme in:
  • Artificial Intelligence
  • Computer Science
  • Mathematics & Computing
  • Electrical and/or Electronics Engineering
  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Chemical Engineering

Who Is Not Eligible for Reliance Foundation PG Scholarship?

• Students studying in the second year of a postgraduate programme.
• Students pursuing online or distance-learning programmes.
• Students enrolled in remote, hybrid, part-time, or other non-regular modes.
• Students pursuing only Mathematics instead of an eligible Mathematics & Computing programme.
• Applicants who do not complete the mandatory online aptitude test.
• Applicants who are found cheating during the aptitude test.

Reliance Foundation Scholarship Benefits

The scholarship provides financial assistance of up to ₹6 lakh during the degree programme. The funds can help students manage tuition fees and other eligible academic expenses.

Reliance Foundation PG Scholarship Application Process

1. Check Eligibility
   • Complete the eligibility questionnaire on the official Reliance Foundation scholarship website.
   • Confirm that your PG course and academic qualifications meet the requirements.
2. Complete Registration
   • Register on the official scholarship portal.
   • Provide the required basic and personal information.
3. Fill Out the Application Form
   • Enter your personal, academic and extracurricular details.
   • Provide academic/professional information.
   • Upload the required supporting documents.
4. Submit Reference Letters
   • Provide two letters of reference:
     • One regarding your academic capabilities.
     • One regarding your character and leadership qualities.
5. Write the Required Essays
   • Submit a Personal Statement.
   • Submit a Statement of Purpose (SOP).
   • Follow the prescribed character limit for each essay.
6. Take the Aptitude Test
   • Complete the mandatory online aptitude test.
   • The test contains 60 multiple-choice questions and has a duration of 60 minutes.
   • Questions cover verbal, analytical/logical and numerical abilities.
7. Application Screening
   • Applications are reviewed and shortlisted through a competitive evaluation process.

8. Virtual Interview
   • Shortlisted candidates are invited for a virtual interview with an expert panel.
