Understanding the Merit List

The merit list plays a crucial role in scholarship selection. There are two main categories:

1. State-Level Merit List

This includes top-ranking students from across Maharashtra. Students on this list receive scholarship benefits and recognition certificates.

2. District-Level Merit List

This list highlights the highest-scoring students from each district, ensuring regional representation.

CBSE & ICSE Students

Students from CBSE and ICSE boards are eligible for merit certificates but not the cash scholarship. The top 100 students at the state level and top 25 at the district level receive certificates of merit.

Scholarship Amount & Benefits

Students who qualify for the MSCE Pune Scholarship 2026 will receive:

• Class 5 (PUPSE): ₹5,000 per year
• Class 8 (PSSE): ₹7,500 per year

Additionally, high-performing Class 5 students may get recommendations for admission to Government Vidyaniketans, Adivasi Vidyaniketans, or VJNT Ashram Schools based on eligibility.

The scholarship amount is directly transferred to the student’s bank account.
