Mukhyamantri Medhavi Vidyarthi Yojana (MMVY) 2026 is a flagship scholarship scheme of the Government of Madhya Pradesh that provides financial assistance to meritorious students for pursuing higher education. Under this scheme, students who have secured 70% or more marks in the Class 12 examination conducted by the Madhya Pradesh Board or 85% or more marks in the Class 12 examination conducted by CBSE/ICSE are eligible to apply, provided they are permanent residents of Madhya Pradesh and their parent’s/guardian’s annual income is less than ₹8 lakh.

Eligible students who secure admission to approved undergraduate courses in recognized institutions can receive financial support under the scheme. The Madhya Pradesh Government bears the admission fee and the actual tuition fee as approved by the Fee Regulatory Committee, Madhya Pradesh Private University Regulatory Commission, or the Central/State Government. However, charges such as mess fees and caution money are not covered under the scholarship. This scheme aims to ensure that talented students can continue their higher education without financial constraints.
