Scholarship Amount

Selected students will receive the following financial assistance

1. Tuition Fee & Non-Refundable Charges

• Full tuition fee and non-refundable charges will be covered.
• For private institutions, assistance is available up to ₹2,00,000 per year.

2. Academic Allowance

The academic allowance can be used to cover living expenses, books and stationery, the purchase of a computer or laptop, printer and accessories, as well as other educational requirements. The scholarship amount is transferred directly to the student’s bank account through DBT.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must fulfill the following conditions:

Educational Eligibility

• Must belong to the Scheduled Caste (SC) category.
• Must have taken admission in a full-time course in a notified institution under the scheme.
• Fresh scholarships are available only for first-year students.

Family Income Criteria

• Total annual family income from all sources should not exceed ₹8,00,000.

Other Conditions

• Scholarship benefits are restricted to a maximum of two siblings from a family.
• The student must maintain satisfactory academic performance.
• Scholarship may be discontinued if the student changes the institution after selection.
• Selected students cannot avail benefits from another similar scholarship scheme of the Central or State Government.
• Fresh scholarship will be awarded only to 1st year students. Students of 2nd/3rd/4th year will not be eligible for selection for fresh scholarship.
